17 Weeks

We are recovering today from a LONG day yesterday - but it was a wonderful day! Emma started the morning by rolling over from her front to her back. This happened just before we left for a play date with friends at the pool! I met 5 co-workers at one of their homes - all but one has had a child in the last 5 months. This is the 2nd time we've gotten together as a group and it's just so much fun... so nice to talk to mommies going through the same milestones, etc. It's also nice to know that I'm not the only one losing a ton of hair. So odd.

Once the playdate was over, we drove on over to my grandma's house to have dinner and swim in the pool - again! I am so glad that the girls seem to enjoy the water. Emma even kicks her feet when we're toting her around in the water.

Here are the Official 17 Week pictures. :)

Emma's Dream

This is Emma first thing in the morning. I found that if I hold the camera right next to my face, they don't really pay any attention and just keep talking.

16 Weeks

A few days behind in posting this - but here are the latest "Friday Pictures." I started taking these pictures on each Week Birthday because of a friend of mine. She took "Thursday Pictures" of her son, and then her subsequent children... documenting each week. Same chair, same baby... for one year. They each now have a flip book of their first year.

I can't believe we are already at 16.

Emma is really getting better with her grip. This is the first time that she has gripped AND rattled her own toy!

Sophia

Just capturing some of her first interactions...

15 Week Conversation

Mostly I haven't posted because of guilt. Guilt that I haven't filled in every crack of information from the end of my pregnancy until now. 15 weeks after birth. So, I have released that guilt and will just start posting again, filling in information as I go. Here is a video taken this past week. The girls have really started to notice one another, and have started to conversate - 15 week style.
