30 Weeks For Goodness Sakes

The girls are 30 weeks and will be 7 months old on Tuesday. SEVEN freaking months. I can't stand it. Time is simply flying by - and my days are allowing only about 2 hours with them before bedtime.  Even though we are pushing back bedtime a bit, I'm usually spending that extra time convincing them that I am fun and funny and worth staying up another 10 minutes.  I do cherish the time with E & S, so much.

I am amazed about the changes from day to day - the new experimental noises, the army crawl to pulling up/over, to stealing toys from one another.  Today I was sitting on the floor watching S bang stacking cups together. One was in her left hand, the other in her right hand, and she was maneuvering her wrist in order to bang them together.  Such a precise movement.  I just can't believe that the brain is developing so quickly, although I delight in these new developments.  E was playing over the air vent on the floor today - pulled herself up to it and was banging on it (her fave pastime).  Just then, the heat came on and starting blowing air up in her face. Her wispy hair was flying up, and she sucked in her breath in surprise.  Then she turned her head back at me and just started laughing!! She would turn back at me and then pull herself back over the vent and giggle.  She was having such a great time playing this game!

Tomorrow we have our first Halloween party, so I'll be sure to post pictures.  Until then, here are some from the 30 week Friday picture session (and the day beforehand)!
